The Gatsby's Craig Attwood Introduces New Menu Items

The Gatsby (712 Main Street, Islip, NY (631) 581-1900 or www.thegatsby.com) is now serving a new fall menu into the New Year. Executive Chef Craig Attwood signature dishes are as follows:

*Braised Short Rib Pinwheel $14
With ginger scallion gremolata, sweet and sour cabbage

*Oven Roasted Monkfish $26
With truffled corn, zucchini and shiitake mushrooms

*5 Spiced Pork Chop $26
With maple glaze, collard greens, sweet potato fondant

*Maple Pot de Cr�me $8
With honey cr�me fra�che, candied ginger

*Apple Cobbler $7
With spiced Caramel Ice Cream

The Gatsby, placed in an impressively restored 130-year-old Victorian mansion, exudes all the grandeur brought to mind by its great namesake. Voted by AOL City Guide diners in 2007 as the most romantic restaurant on Long Island, the menu created by Long Islander and Executive Chef, Craig Attwood, contributes to The Gatsby's heart-winning reputation. Attwood wants diners to really taste his food. The New York Times' Joanne Starkey dubbed Attwood "a kitchen commander."
