Celebrity Chefs Gather for "Food in America Today" Panel

Gordon and Fiona Hamersley, co-owners of Hamersley's Bistro in Boston's South End, will join other luminaries for the debut of The Boston Globe 2006 Arts & Entertainment Weekend GlobeTalks series. On Saturday, January 21 and Sunday, January 22 at the Stanford Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts, 527 Tremont Street, arts and entertainment enthusiasts will have the opportunity to hear from a variety of cultural leaders in discussion forums led by Globe critics, reporters and editors.

"This series is a great opportunity for the public to get inside perspective from a diverse group of industry experts and get out and explore all that Boston has to offer culturally, from food to dance to theater," says Fiona.

On Sunday, January 22, from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m., Fiona will moderate the panel "Food in America Today," on which celebrity chefs explore changes and trends in American cuisine. Gordon will serve as a panelist along with Lidia Bastianich, host of PBS' Lidia's Family Table, Food Network's Sara Moulton, and New York City's award-winning chef Marcus Samuelsson.
