Grace Bay Club Unveils Caribbean's Longest Bar
(Providenciales, November 2007) - Grace Bay Club recently unveiled the World's First Infiniti Edge Bar and a collection of contemporary refinements to beachfront eatery Anacaona, elevating the dining experience in Turks and Caicos to new levels of service and atmosphere. To better compliment Anacaona's chic redesign, Grace Bay Club will also introduce a new gourmet menu with a focus on modern presentation, fresh ingredients and global influence.
"The new Infiniti Bar and refurbishments to Anacaona at Grace Bay Club are a perfect compliment to the classic features that have made our dining experience such a success to date," says Nikheel Advani, Managing Director of Grace Bay Club. "We were able to retain the outdoor Caribbean feel of the Palapas while adding stylish modern elements such as black Moreno glass chandeliers to enhance the overall experience. The addition of our new menu, a collaboration created by celebrated chefs from around the world, makes this the ultimate dining experience in Turks and Caicos and the Caribbean that brings people together in one communal setting."
The new Infiniti Bar stretches 90 feet across the Grace Bay Club beach to the shore of Grace Bay making it the longest bar in the Caribbean. The bar features full restaurant service and an exclusive Infiniti Cocktail menu showcasing traditional Caribbean cocktails as well as a selection of global creations from renowned mixologists around the world. Shaded canopies provide much needed solace from the sun for guests, while the innovative design allows for an authentic beach experience with waves lapping at their feet.
The bar design, constructed of black marble by Keith Hobbs of United Designers celebrated for his work with Nobu and the London W Hotels, creates the illusion that the entire structure is floating above the Caribbean sand and extending indefinitely into the ocean. Palapas with flowing white canvas and Moreno black glass chandeliers decorate the interior of Anacaona and bar ceiling while the walls glow in vibrant blue and gold Bisazza glass mosaic tiles.
Existing bar details have been resurfaced with black granite and neutral tiles have replaced the former terra cotta flooring. In addition, the renovation boasts new lounge seating for 30 guests, contemporary blue and white lighting and extensive landscaping.
Beach Dinner
In addition to the ultimate Infiniti Bar and Anacaona dining experience, Grace Bay Club has introduced a Private Island dining concept. The service, available only for one group or couple each evening, comes compete with a private butler, chef and customized menu. Beachfront tables are decorated in fine-dining style and adorned with tiki torches and beach bonfires.
All meals are prepared at Anacaona. Dinner service begins at 7:30pm. Reservations are required.
