Guy's American Kitchen & Bar Launches September 10, 2012

Opening in the heart of Times Square in the historic New York Times Building, Guy Fieri will introduce Guy's American Kitchen & Bar on September 10, 2012. This dynamic restaurant will feature Guy's signature style of cooking, big on flavor and short on boundaries. From the crave-worthy menu, to its buzzing bar scene, Guy's spirited restaurant promises to offer visitors, locals, and fans a spot that will become a fast favorite for a truly memorable dining experience.

Guy's American Kitchen & Bar will showcase an open kitchen to give guests a behind the scenes look at Guy's culinary team in action, while three bars will offer imaginative cocktails and a wide range of Guy's own, unique beers locally brewed by Heartland Brewery. Signature cocktails will include the American Apple Pie No. 7 and Margarita Caliente, while an extensive wine list will focus on Californian wines.

Complementing the restaurant's energetic atmosphere, Guy has created a menu that highlights signature flavors from his restaurants, his shows, his books, and his life on the road with Diner's, Drive Ins & Dives. The lunch and dinner menus include items such as:

Awesome Pretzel Chicken Tenders
buttermilk-brined, all white-meat tenders coated in crunchy, crushed pretzels served with spicy honey-dijon dipping sauce
Malibu Oysters
fresh broiled oysters on the half-shell stuffed with peppers, spinach, onion, and creamy havarti

Firecracker Chicken Wings
glazed in sweet, sticky honey-soy marinade, topped with sesame + scallions

Sangria Glazed Shrimp
sauteed shrimp, red onion, bell peppers, green apple, crispy noodles + signature sangria glaze

Chipotle Shrimp with Cajun Hot Links
tomatoes, scallions, penne pasta + chipotle bbq cream sauce

Beer and Honey Porchetta
garlic, herb and fennel stuffed porchetta, rotisserie roasted and glazed

Grilled Lamb Chops with Mint Pesto
rosemary, garlic and lemon marinated lamb chops, fresh minted pesto + seasonal vegetables

The Triple Double Pie

Salted Whiskey Caramel Fool
sea salt whiskey caramel, macerated strawberries, toasted pound cake, fresh whipped cream + pecans

Guy's American Kitchen & Bar will span three floors with 500 seats and numerous private dining spaces. Reflecting Guy's gregarious spirit, the restaurant design is a collaboration between Guy and Kim Nathanson of Niemitz Design Group. The space is a personalized expression of Guy's love for everything food and hospitality as well as sports, cars and rock n roll.

Guy's signature style will be infused in every aspect of the restaurant, including a room dedicated to his love of music and another room paying homage to his culinary peers, and renowned predecessors. Exciting focal points such as Guy's demonstration kitchen will feature a flame-cooking rotisserie and-hanging from the ceiling-an enormous 12-foot wide chandelier showcasing a collection of Guy's retired pots and pans.
