Hangzhou, China - Unseen Beauty, Unforgettable

New York - April 18, 2013 - The city of Hangzhou visited the city of New York today to host "Unseen Beauty, Unforgettable Hangzhou" in New York's Hyatt Hotel. The presentation and event, where 200 New York-based 200 tour operators, Chinese community leaders, government tourism officials, consulate representatives, heads of local Chinese National Tourism Administration, media and travel agents are expected to attend, was coordinated by the Hangzhou Municipal Government and the Hangzhou Tourism Commission, and brought a delegation of over 30 TO and travel professionals from the destination to conduct business meetings with US travel industry leaders.

During the event, a three-year partnership between Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) and Hangzhou Tourism Commission was announced, making Hangzhou the third city to enter Visa's "Beautiful China" global promotion campaign following Beijing and Suzhou, bringing the global promotion initiative to the next level. Under the theme of "Beautiful China - Hangzhou", the cooperation aims to build up Hangzhou's international influence among international tourists, as well as improve the city's payment acceptance environment for international cardholders.
