A Heart-warming Valentine's Evening At The Gatsby

The Gatsby, one of Long Island's most romantic restaurants, offers a special Valentine's Day prix fixe dinner Thursday, February 14 prepared by Executive Chef Craig Attwood. In addition, ladies will be presented with a rose and dining room entertainment will be from Bobby V. performing love songs from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. The cost is $75 per person plus tax and gratuity with the prix fixe menu selections as follows:

APPETIZERS - Choice Of:
*Lolla Rossa Salad
*Shaved baby beets bucheron, spiced pistachios and blood orange reduction
*Truffled Oyster Bisque
With parsnip and apple
*Pan Seared Foie Gras
With a quince puree, coppa and spiced almonds
*Pan Seared Diver Scallops
With wild mushroom truffle vinaigrette and parsnip fondant
*Braised Short Rib
With ginger scallion gremoulata, pickled cabbage and baby beets

MAIN COURSE - Choice Of:
*Grilled Filet Mignon
With truffled fingerling potatoes, scallion mushroom daube, cognac cream
*Halibut Pot au Feu
With bone marrow, baby vegetables, ginger
*Pan Seared Long Island Duck Breast
With leg confit, basmati rice, currants, blood orange marmalade
*Roasted Free Range Chicken
With braised Brussels sprouts, chicken confit, dried cherries and rosemary jus
