The first gathering had only 12 tasters, none of whom were serious wine aficionados. The group enjoyed the pressure-free party so much that they decided to do it again. With the club's "invite a friend" policy, the invitation list has since grown from the 12 to 160+. In 2005, Conroy-Baiter and business partner, Eva Potter, founded SWILLparty, LLC.
