Hosts Ages 20-24 Sought For Cooking Show

Do you love to cook? Do your cooking skills ROCK? Are you 20-24 years old? Are you enthusiastic, engaging and visually appealing? Are you comfortable in front of a camera? Do you think quickly on your feet?

If so, Rising Moon Media of Fairfield, CT, might be looking for you. The company is hosting an open call, inviting young chefs to audition for Now You're Cookin' a new TV cooking show for teenagers. The production company is hunting for two perfect hosts - one man and one woman, of any race or ethnicity - for the national public television program. During the audition, cooks will need to prep and/or cook a dish of their choosing, and describe what they're doing, for exactly five full minutes. They may not use a script. Those auditioning will need to supply their own ingredients, utensils, cookware and clean-up items.

Cooks wishing to audition MUST REGISTER AHEAD OF TIME!! To register, cooks must send:
 a five-minute VHS tape or DVD of themselves cooking and explaining to teenagers what they're doing. Production quality is not important. What the cook is saying and doing is what matters.
 an 8x10 recent, unedited head shot
 a bio
 a one page explanation of why the cook would love to host "Now You're Cookin'"
 their contact information (name, phone and e-mail a must!)
