Inox Restaurant Presents Menu Of Julia Child's Cuisine In Celebration Of The Julie & Julia Movie Launch

What: In anticipation of the August 7, 2009 release of major motion picture Julie & Julia, Inox Restaurant is enlivening the cuisine of Julia Child with a three-course prix-fixe menu of dishes from Child's cookbook. Julie & Julia is a movie about famed chef and culinary educator Julia Child and Julie Powell, the blogger and home cook who started the Julie /Julia project. The vibrant Tysons Corner restaurant is serving guests a three-course tasting menu using recipes from Julia Child's groundbreaking 1961 cookbook 'Mastering the Art of French Cooking.' Executive Chefs and Co-Owners Jon Mathieson and Jonathan Krinn will serve guests some of Julia's beloved dishes, including her casserole-roasted chicken with tarragon and delicious cherry clafouti. Priced at $48 per person, the three-course tasting menu will be served at the bar in Inox. So as Julia would say it, "Bon Appetit!"

When: From August 3, 2009 to August 31, 2009, Monday to Friday from 5 -10 pm

Where: Inox Restaurant at 1800 Tysons Corner Blvd., McLean, VA.

Why: The restaurant would like to pay tribute to Julia Child's immense culinary contribution of introducing French cooking in America, and support the movie Julie & Julia scheduled for release on August 7, 2009. The restaurant also has a connection to Julia Child through Executive Chef Jon Mathieson who was a featured chef at Julia Child's 90th birthday celebration dinner. Inox will be happy to get tickets for guests interested in watching the movie after their meal, at the AMC Theater in Tysons Corner Center, located less than one mile from the restaurant.
