WASHINGTON (June 20, 2008) - Executive Chefs and Co-Owners Jon Mathieson and Jonathan Krinn are excited to announce the opening of Inox restaurant opening in the chic business district of Tysons Corner, Virginia in November 2008. Incorporating a unique formula combining the talents of two of the Washington, DC Area's strongest culinary talents, Inox will present an energetic, comfortably chic dining room with an inviting lounge and a menu of creative and approachable American cuisine.

Mathieson and Krinn began work together in September 2005 when they pair took over as Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef (respectively) of 2941 Restaurant in Falls Church, Virginia. Their unique synergy in the kitchen amounted to award-winning cuisine that won acclaim from media and diners alike. When the decision was made to open a new restaurant venture, the pair knew immediately that it would be together. "We will run Inox with a team. Our abilities to develop dishes and concepts together provide us with a deeper understanding of what diners are looking for and gives us the opportunity to bring two sets of creative ideas and culinary technique into the restaurant," states Krinn.

Open for lunch and dinner, the menu at Inox will consist of creative, approachable modern American cuisine. Mathieson and Krinn's menu at Inox will feature a strong variety of respectfully cultivated, seasonal ingredients crafted into innovative and approachable dishes. In addition to the creative a la carte menu, Inox will also feature a Chef's tasting menu which will rotate dishes weekly. The bar and lounge will feature a fun small bites menu of creatively crafted dishes designed to inspire fun while maintaining the Chefs' respect for culinary innovation and quality ingredients. Well known in the Washington, DC area for his delicious breads, Chef Krinn's father, Malvin Krinn will work with Mathieson and Krinn to develop the restaurant's bread program.

Heading up the wine and beverage program at Inox is John Wabeck, who developed a regarded reputation as a talented Chef in his long culinary tenure in Washington, DC. Most recently the Executive Chef at New Heights restaurant in Washington, DC, Wabeck is stepping into the role of Wine Director. A knowledgeable wine professional, John Wabeck has worked for six years to achieve the Master Sommelier Diploma by the Court of Master Sommeliers and is currently one of only six wine professionals in Washington, DC prepared to achieve this honor. "The wine program at Inox will be extensive," says Wabeck. We are going to offer over 650 labels and house about 6,000-7,000 bottles." The wine program will represent most major wine-producing regions with focuses on Burgundy and Rioja. At the bar, Wabeck plans on taking a "cooking approach," buying the best ingredients and letting them shine in classic-style cocktails.

Inox is set to open in a new building at 1800 Tysons Boulevard in the heart of Tysons Corner. Designed by CMS Architecture and Design out of New York, NY, the restaurant will offer a vibrant 126 seat dining room with a 34 seat bar and lounge area. Inox will offer diners an up-close dining experience with the 20 seat Chef's table and can accommodate private functions for up to 130 guests in the well-appointed private dining room. The color palate set in hues of yellows, browns and metallics was designed to inspire energy and comfort, creating an upscale yet approachable dining ambiance.
