Iwm Announces Lettie Teague To Join New York Based Team

Former Food & Wine Editor to join Italian Wine Merchants
New York City (July 27, 2009)-Italian Wine Merchants is pleased to announce the appointment of Lettie Teague as Director of Communications, effective July 27, 2009. Teague was Food & Wine's Executive Wine Editor for twelve years, during which time she expanded the magazine's wine coverage significantly-including two annual wine issues, the American Wine Awards and the Best New Restaurant Wine List awards. Teague also wrote a very popular monthly column called "Wine Matters" which won the 2003 James Beard M.F.K. Fisher Distinguished Writing Award and the 2005 James Beard Magazine Column Award. She is the author of Educating Peter: How I taught a famous movie critic the difference between Cabernet and Merlot and the co-author and illustrator of Fear of Wine.
