ATLANTA (February 4, 2008) - JO�L announces the restaurant's receipt of one of the industry's highest honors the AAA Four Diamond Award.

JO�L is the culmination of Chef Jo�l Antunes' 30 years of culinary experience in Paris, the south of France, Asia, London, and Atlanta's Dining Room at the Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead (under Antunes' leadership, remained the state's only Mobil Travel Guide five-star and AAA Five Diamond award-winning restaurant).

AAA FOUR DIAMOND AWARD
Each year AAA evaluates and rates more than 40,000 restaurants and lodgings worldwide for publication in its annual AAA Tour Books, however, only a small percentage of establishments receive such an outstanding honor. Restaurants receiving the Four Diamond Award must show an unwavering commitment to excellence in service, ambiance and, of course, cuisine.
Since 2001, national accolades for JO�L include "Best New Restaurant" by Esquire Magazine and one of "America's Best Restaurants" by Gourmet Magazine. Regional awards include being named one of Atlanta Magazine's top 100 restaurants. Chef Antunes, after being nominated in 2003 and 2004, won the James Beard Foundation Award for JO�L "Best Chef - Southeast" in 2005. In October 2007 the Atlanta Journal-Constitution awarded the highest honor in the city - their coveted five-star rating.
