JoЁl To Host Monthly Spring Wine Dinners

ATLANTA (February 19, 2008) - Since its inception, JOЁL Restaurant has promised Atlanta the finest wines and French fare available, and Chef Joёl Antunes and Sommelier Perrine Prieur have teamed up to create the most enchanting wine evenings this spring season. Each dinner will be held in the newly-renovated Dining Room at JOЁL. An exclusive reception will commence these special nights at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.

JOЁL hosts a Newton Vineyards Wine Dinner featuring a four-course menu carefully paired with wines for $105 per person. Chef Joёl Antunes will craft a luxurious menu to couple with this widely acclaimed California wine leader. Established in 1977, Newton Vineyards was one of the first wineries on Spring Mountain, a rugged yet serene appellation located west of St. Helena on the eastern flank of the Mayacamas range which separates Napa and Sonoma valleys. The vineyard's mission is to create pure wines that fully express the unique terroir of the mountain estate of red Bordeaux varietals and cool climate, marine-influenced vineyards for Chardonnay. Newton Vineyards is acclaimed for its pioneering spirit, purity and exceptional quality of its wines as they reflect the region.

JOЁL hosts a Rombauer Vineyards Wine Dinner featuring a four-course menu carefully paired with wines for $105 per person. Chef Joёl Antunes will create an innovative menu to team with the f�ted Rombauer wines of Napa Valley. The Rombauer family has a long commitment to producing wine of superior quality with the goal that the Rombauer Vineyards brand will become recognized around the world. Their vineyard's soil is very volcanic and becomes almost powder-like after cultivation, and is well-drained and perfect for growing grapes. Often their grape clusters are huge and weigh up to 3/4 of a pound each. The resulting wine is full-bodied, with raspberry and pepper flavors.

JOЁL hosts a Far Niente Wine Dinner featuring a five-course menu carefully paired with wines for $155 per person. Chef Joёl Antunes will construct a distinctive menu to join with the notable Far Niente Winery. This Napa Valley winery was founded in 1885 by John Benson, a forty-niner of the California gold rush, and is known for carrying California's oldest bottle of wine. Far Niente wines feature an intricate art nouveau-style parchment label, which was designed by artist Tom Rodrigues in 1979. Far Niente wines are one of a kind; this is a wine dinner not to be missed.
