Sandrines Bistro Annual Holiday Event Schedule
December 2002 - January 2003



Sandrines Bistro always has exciting things planned for the holidays. This year we will include family traditions such as a Childrens Cookie Decorating Party and a Holiday Lunch where families can take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle and enjoy a seasonal meal. In January, Sandrines Bistro will make the classic Gallette du Roi or Kings Cake to celebrate the New Year.

Saturday, December 7 10:45 AM: Pere Nvel Boat Cruise

Saturday, December 7 1:00 PM: Childrens Cookie Decorating Party

Children are supplied with Gingerbread Picture Frames, Royal Icing, and edible sugars, sparkles and candies. The event will be held at Sandrines, 8 Holyoke Street, Cambridge. Children must be accompanied by an adult; price $15/child, three years and older. Please call 617/497-5300 to make reservations.



Saturday, December 14 12:00 PM: Holiday Lunch

Take a break from the holiday hustle and bustle by enjoying a lunch with family and friends in Harvard Square. Sandrines will host a Holiday Lunch for families featuring: soup de jour, roasted chicken, pomme frites, and Buche de Nvel for dessert. The luncheon will conclude with each table building and decorating their own gingerbread house - which they can take home! Prix Fixe Menu price: $45/adult and $25/child. January Gallette du Roi

Reserve a Gallette du Roi or Kings Cake for January. Traditionally eaten on January 6, a charm is baked in this ringed cake and the lucky person who receives the slice with the charm is crowned king for a day!; cake feeds eight: price $40. Orders need to be received by December 30, and will be available for pick-up from January 2-6. Please call 617/497-5300 to place orders.
