Jonathan's Ristorante Appoints Philip D. Tarzia As Sous Chef
Jonathan's Ristorante has appointed Philip D. Tarzia as sous chef. Tarzia, a graduate from the New York Institute of Technology with an Associates Degree in Culinary Education, now works along side Executive Chef, Tito Onofre to create new and unique Italian dishes. Prior to graduation, Tarzia completed the Culinary Arts Program at the BOCES Vocational School in Nassau County in 1998. Tarzia has previously worked at the Clearwater Caf� in Massapequa, Homestead Restaurant in Oyster Bay, and RSVP Restaurant in Bayville. Most recently he worked at Wild Fin Restaurant in Huntington, where he worked two years as the chef de cuisine. He has also volunteered at the Gold Coast of Long Island Fund Raiser, The Charlie Trotter Fund Raiser and the Good Taste of Long Island.
Jonathans Ristorante is open for lunch Monday through Saturday from 12-3 p.m. and serves dinner Monday through Thursday 5 -10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 5-10:30 p.m. and Sunday from 4-8 p.m. For further information or reservations please contact Jonathan's Ristorante at (631) 549-0055.
