A Jubilee To See: A Jubilee Fish Feast At True Restaurant For Two Weeks

Every once in a while when the tide comes in on the Mobile Bay, it brings with it an enormous bounty of fresh, feast- worthy fish. Known as the Mobile Bay Jubilee, the shores are drenched with white shrimp, blue crab, eel and sole during this mysterious early morning phenomenon, sending waves of local seafood-centric festivities throughout the city. In celebration of the Jubilee, True Restaurant, in Mobile's Spring Hill neighborhood, will feature a Jubilee Fish Feast menu packed with local zest. Chef Wesley True has teamed up with his local seafood purveyors to bring the best catch of the day! Guests can get hooked on dishes infused with New American Southern flavors including Crab Coconut Soup with lobster and mushrooms; Atlantic Salmon with smoked maitake mushrooms, vanilla parsnip puree with wilted arugula and a brown butter parsley sauce; and Local Drum with coriander shrimp, pickled red onion, bacon velout�, corn and zucchini, all without touching a jig, net or boat.
