Kevin Rathbun's Iron Chef Viewing

Kevin Rathbun will be celebrating his premiere debut on Iron Chef by throwing a heavy hors d'oeurvres and dessert buffet from 8:30-9:45 on February 24th, 2008. The event will be at Kevin Rathbun Steak (154 Krog Street ) and will benefit The Atlanta Community Food Bank. Cost is $50.00 per person for the food, beer and wine. There will be a cash bar for liquor. At 10 p.m., the Iron Chef debut will begin and Chef Rathbun will be teamed up with his brother, Kent for the ultimate Iron Chef experience. Who will win? Nobody knows. But it is sure to be a fun time. Rathbun will have large screen televisions throughout the dining room. Reservations can be made by calling 404.524.5600.

Chef Kevin & his brother will battle against the "Unknown" in the Food Network's Iron Chef competition. The two chef siblings will be paired together to battle against an unannounced "Iron Chef."

In the nationally televised competition, the Rathbun brothers will have one hour to prepare five different dishes with the "secret ingredient" that the Food Network introduces to the chefs. Trey Wilcox, who is the Chef de Cuisine of Abacus will assist the brotherly duo. Kevin Rathbun says, "We will be ready for anything that they hand to us with the hopes of beating the Iron Chef"

Chef Kevin Rathbun is the owner of Rathbun's, Krog Bar and Kevin Rathbun Steak in Atlanta, and Chef Kent Rathbun is the owner of Abacus and Jaspers, in Dallas, Texas.
