Kitchen Arts & Letters To Produce

Kitchen Arts & Letters, a renowned New York City-based culinary bookstore, will launch a full-service branch, complete with daily author appearances and signings, at the 88th annual International Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Show (IH/M&RS), November 8-11, 2003, at New York Citys Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The first of its kind, this special exhibit will introduce a new element of culinary excitement to the Show, creating an exclusive onsite venue to meet, greet and browse select titles.
Kitchen Arts & Letters is a top resource for cookbooks from around the world and all things related to the literature of food  from food-themed fiction and kitchen antiques to the science of food preparation. Its IH/M&RS bookstore branch will feature titles, available for purchase, from authors including: Ferran and Albert Adria; Heinx Beck; Rose Levy Beranbaum; Martin Berasategui; Daniel Boulud; David Bouley; Michel Bras; Tom Coliccho; Christian Delouvrier; Rocco DiSpirito; Alain Ducasse; Teage Ezard; Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson; Pierre Herme; Alfonso Iaccarino; Emily Luchetti; Alice Medrich; Charles Palmer; Neil Perry; Marcus Samuelsson; Santi Santamaria; Pedro Subijana; and Sherry Yard.
IH/M&RS is the perfect venue to expand the reach of Kitchen Arts & Letters, stated Nach Waxman, owner. We are excited to showcase our premier chefs/authors and their latest books to the professional culinary community this November.

The addition of an on-site bookstore to the IH/M&RS is an exciting new venture, and will extend the markets resources well beyond the Show floor, said Christian Falkenberg, general manager. Kitchen Arts & Letters is a one-of-a-kind retail experience for culinary professionals and food lovers, and we welcome their partnership in creating a similar environment at the Show.
The 88th annual IH/M&RS will be held November 8-11, 2003, at New York Citys Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The IH/M&RS presents approximately 1,800 exhibitors in five distinct markets: Dicor, Technology, Restaurant, Flavors and Essentials. The Show draws 55,000 domestic and international hospitality professionals representing chain, franchise, resort, casino, independent and senior care properties, consultants, architects, designers, purchasing, management companies, restaurants, clubs, fast food, airline and cruise ships, bars, caterers, corporate dining, hospitals, schools, industry distributors, wholesalers and designers.
Show hours are 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., from Saturday, November 8, through Monday, November 10; and 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 11. IH/M&RS attendee registration is $25 until October 10, and $50 after October 10.
