LDV HOSPITALITY ANNOUNCES EXPANSION PLANS TO PUERTO RICO, FOLLOWING OPENINGS IN THE HAMPTONS, CHICAGO AND BUCKHEAD ATLANTA

Premiere Restaurant Group Announces Expansion of its Multiple Concepts across the
United States and Puerto Rico

Today, John Meadow’s LDV Hospitality – a premiere, New York-based hospitality group with more than 20 food and beverage venues in its portfolio – announces its expansion of the American Cut brand with their American Cut Bar & Grill concept to San Juan, Puerto Rico, set to open in early fall 2015. The new property follows LDV’s plans to bring a variety of their concepts to other new markets – including Atlanta, Chicago and Montauk, NY. With each concept, LDV aims to bring genuine experiences to its guests by taking the culture of old world hospitality and adopting it to today’s modern lifestyle.
“We are thrilled to announce the expansion of LDV Hospitality into other markets, including our first ever foray into Puerto Rico,” says John Meadow, Founder and Principal of LDV Hospitality. “Our mission at LDV is to bring the dream of ‘La Dolce Vita’ to our patrons’ everyday life and we hope to deliver that experience with these exciting new projects.”
Opening at Taubman’s new extraordinary lifestyle center at The Mall of San Juan, American Cut Bar & Grill will capture the spirit of its Tribeca flagship location in New York City. A partnership between LDV and Chef Marc Forgione, the restaurant will be open daily for lunch, serving Chef Forgione’s modern taken on American classics and signature steaks in an 8,000 sq. ft., 200-seat dining room with an outdoor terrace along with two private dining rooms will accommodate up to 60 guests.
Prior to the launch of the new American Bar & Grill, LDV Hospitality will open eight new food and beverage outlets across the country – Dolce in Chicago; American Cut & Dolce in Buckhead Atlanta; and multiple properties including Scarpetta Beach, The Regent Cocktail Club, Tillie’s, The Beach Club at Gurney’s and Corso Coffee at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa in the Hamptons.

MONTAUK
LDV Hospitality’s iconic Scarpetta makes its way out east with Scarpetta Beach, the beachfront version of its original Meatpacking District location along with four other food & beverage outlets and an events program, bringing La Dolce Vita to Gurney’s Montauk Resort and Spa in spring 2015. Located in Montauk, New York, the iconic oceanfront resort will deliver a new guest experience year-round with LDV overseeing all of the food and beverage operations thorough out the property, with a partnership cultivated by Jack Bottero of Black Brick.
Other outlets will include The Regent Cocktail Club, led by managing partner and acclaimed bartender Julio Cabrera, featuring a daily rotating menu of classic cocktails. A new concept from LDV, Tillie’s, will be an inviting American kitchen serving a menu of seasonally-drive classic comfort dishes and American favorites. Located in the lobby entrance, LDV’s Italian-style coffee bar Corso Coffee will offer a variety of artisanal coffees and a grab-and-go menu of freshly baked goods. Lastly, The Beach Club at Gurney’s will capture the nostalgic charm of the “endless American summer” with its canary yellow and white striped beach chairs, daybeds and The Beach Club’s Bar & Grill which will offer a selection of light appetizers, sandwiches and salads.

CHICAGO
Opening late spring, LDV’s critically-acclaimed Italian concept, Dolce Italian, will open at The Godfrey Hotel, a luxury lifestyle hotel centrally located in downtown Chicago’s trendy River North neighborhood. The upscale yet unpretentious vibe of The Godfrey will complement Dolce’s warm, inviting ambiance and balanced blend of modern and rustic design elements. With the charm and fine Italian fare that has made it such a success in Miami Beach, Dolce will offer its fresh take on Italian classics like homemade pastas, Neapolitan pizzas, antipasti, and the restaurant’s signature Veal Milanese.

ATLANTA
Heading down south, LDV has chosen Buckhead Atlanta as the site for three concepts: Corso Coffee, Dolce Italian and American Cut. Developed by Oliver McMillan, Buckhead Atlanta has pedestrian-friendly streets, lush landscaping, upscale residences, delicious food and fine retail shops that are new to Atlanta. The luxury district is already home to one LDV concept, Corso Coffee, which opened in January 2015. This classic Italian style coffee bar was built with the comfort of modern day amenities to encourage guests to take a moment to relax, any time of their day. Come August, Buckhead Atlanta diners will find themselves transported via Dolce Italian to the effortless elegance of Fellini’s Rome of the 1960s, lingering over an Aperol spritz or a barrel-aged Negroni at the bar or on the 50 seat outdoor terrace overlooking the shopping promenade, or enjoying a sublimely Italian meal in the 150 seat dining room. Finally, just after Labor Day, LDV will add American Cut to this city’s steak-loving scene, with a three-level dining and cocktailing experience, including a rooftop lounge with stunning views. Celebrated chef partner Marc Forgione curated the menu based on the influence of his father, Larry Forgione, who founded the iconic restaurant, An American Place. Marc’s rock-and-roll personality influences the dynamic flavors of signature dishes like the Tomahawk Rib Eye Chop, a show stopping 28-day dry aged 48-ounce steak, as well as the decadent Chili Lobster.
