Giving an impact on the outcome of our new style, some of the most important cultural highlights of Barcelona are within walking distance of the hotel. La Rambla, the main artery and focal point of the city where everything flows, contemporary art galleries, Palau de la Virreina exhibition center, MACBA museum and the Liceu Opera House, the colourful and international market of La Boqueria and the Palau G�ell, describe a unique cartography only a few meters away from the unique building that houses Le Meridien Barcelona.

The interior design concept of Isabel Lopez Vilalta + Associates is based on establishing a dialogue between the synergies of Le Meridien and the study itself, generating an understanding between them. Cartography, history, culture and architecture of Le Meridien Barcelona, are the key connection points.

Modernity in juxtaposition with a classic point of inspiration defines the factors coming from an urban and global balance. Innovative and local design and warm colours in a discrete range of indisputable elegance. Not left out a call to sustainability and respect for the environment in the materials used, consistent with a sample of ornamental architectural heritage and legacy of its own building, protected and classified by the City of Barcelona.

Le Meridien Barcelona has positioned itself as one of the flagships properties for the Le Meridien Brand, ensuring the implementation of all the key brand experiences including:
- The Arrival Experience, to reset the guest's mind, leaves the outside world behind and enters the new world of Le Meridien. Our Arrival Artwork was created by artists Joan Fontcuberta and Chen Wenbo.

- The Sensory Experience, where a unique atmosphere has been created including the signature scent created by New York perfumery Le Labo, called LM01, a signature soundtrack, and a lighting ceremony to celebrate the transition from day to night.

- Our UNLOCK ART programme where at check-in, the guest receives an artist-designed key card which serves as pieces of artwork.
