The League For The Hard of Hearing Hosts The 13th Annual Feast With Famous Face
On Monday, September 26, over 35 of New York's most celebrated chefs, newscasters and daytime television stars will join forces at the 13th Annual Feast With Famous Faces, Manhattan's most exciting and glamorous culinary gala. The Feast benefits the League for the Hard of Hearing, a not-for-profit organization providing programs and services for people with all degrees of hearing loss. Founded in 1910, the League has helped a million and a quarter people cross the threshold to hope and better hearing health.
Hosted by JP Morgan Chase (270 Park Avenue, between 47 and 48 Streets, New York, NY), the Feast is a culinary extravaganza that draws a glittery array of famous faces. Feast Co-Chairs Kassie and Jim DePaiva will be joined by other cast members of One Life to Live, as well as fellow actors from All My Children, As the World Turns, and The Guiding Light. The Broadcast Chair is television news anchor Jim Ryan of Channel 2, who draws broadcasters to the event from all of the major television networks, including NY1, WCBS, WNBC, WNYW, WABC, WWOR and WPIX.
Restaurant Chair Vincent Scotto of Gonzo ensures that the Feast With Famous Faces is a gastronomical evening to remember. Some of this year's restaurant participants include: 2 West Restaurant, Beacon Restaurant & Bar, Brasserie 8 =, Brick Lane Curry House, Butter, Cafi Centro, Candela, Casa Mono, Dim Sum Go Go, fresh, Gonzo, Ian, Keens Steakhouse, Lo Scalco, Maloney & Porcelli, Maremma, Mercadito, Park Avenue Cafi, Riingo, Rosa Mexicano, Ruby Foo's Times Square, San Pietro, Table XII Restaurant, The Art Institute of New York City, Trio Restaurant & Wine Bar, and Zok. Fine kosher options will also be available with Foremost Caterers, Le Marais and Prestige Caterers, serving signature dishes.
A star-studded, not-to-be-missed evening, the Feast delivers glamorous company, delectable cuisine, and fabulous raffles while supporting one of New York's landmark organizations serving those in need.
