Let Ponti Delight Your Senses! There's Nothing Like Spring At Ponti

It's spring and all good things are happening at Ponti. As weather allows, the famous Ponti patio opens-there's nothing more delightful than time spent overlooking the Ship Canal, loving the buds and blooms and spring growth on the hillside and surrounding areas, and watching the locals get out and enjoy the pathways. There are even a few select patio tables saved for bar patrons-happy hour on the patio is pretty happy, indeed.

Ponti Seafood Grill is owned by Richard and Sharon Malia who have a long involvement in Seattle's restaurant history starting with The Snug from 1972-1979, followed by Malia's Northwest (aka Mrs. Malia's) in the late 70s. The Snug was the first restaurant to serve Starbucks coffee and Malia's Northwest started the first winemaker dinners. Ponti opened in November 1990 with Chef Alvin Binuya who returned to lead the kitchen again in 2009.
