Mafiaoza's Selected As Lead Restaurant In Nashville's Cumberland Yacht Harbor
MAFIAoZA's, Nashville's popular, 1920s New York-style Italian restaurant, will be the lead restaurant at Nashville's Cumberland Yacht Harbor luxury waterfront community announced Alex Marks, Senior Vice President of Tower Investments, LLC, which owns majority interest in the project that will break ground on November 29. MAFIAoZA's, a favorite on the Nashville dining scene since its opening in 2003, is the first business named to occupy a portion of the 33,000 square feet of space available for restaurants and specialty retail shops at Cumberland Yacht Harbor, located 10 minutes from Riverfront Park in downtown Nashville. It is anticipated that MAFIAoZA's will occupy approximately 7,800 square feet of space, plus a 2,400 square foot outdoor dining area overlooking the harbor, at The Lighthouse, Cumberland Yacht Harbor's commercial center, which will front on Lebanon Road near Briley Parkway.
"This additional MAFIAoZA's location will be enjoyed by everyone, including both residents of Cumberland Yacht Harbor and residents of the adjacent neighborhoods and surrounding communities," said Marks. MAFIAoZA's at Cumberland Yacht Harbor will be the second Nashville location for the acclaimed restaurant. The original MAFIAoZA's, located at 2400 12th Avenue South, has been serving capacity crowds since it was launched by Lars Kopperud and Michael Dolan. The 320-seat restaurant quickly earned a solid reputation throughout the region for its innovative dishes and flavorful Italian fare crafted by Corporate Chef and Catering Director Brett Corrieri.

Like our original location, we'll be offering several special events and wine tastings, as well."
The Cumberland Yacht Harbor is located on a 43-acre site on the Cumberland River at Mill Creek, near the intersection of Briley Parkway and Lebanon Road. The project features luxury villas constructed alongside a 13.5-acre harbor with a marina accommodating more than 200 boats up to 100 feet in length. There will also be public docks and slips for transient boats. The Nashville Yacht Club, one of the oldest chartered yacht clubs in Tennessee, has indicated its intent to use Cumberland Yacht Harbor's marina as its permanent home.
