The Make & Take Kitchen Announces Halifax Location
Meal-assembly service adds new location, allowing additional Massachusetts residents to make a month's worth of meals in under an hour.
Norwell, Mass. - November 1, 2007 - The Make & Take Kitchen is bringing its innovative, reliable and creative alternative to takeout to Halifax, Massachusetts. The meal-assembly service will open its new location on November 4, 2007.
The original Norwell location was opened by Kim Bailey and Robyn Bailey, members of The Make and Take Kitchen, LLC. Dawn Krish, president of DAK Ventures LLC, will be operating the Halifax location. "We are thrilled to add Dawn and the new location to our creative family," says Robyn Bailey. "We love offering our customers the opportunity to visit another kitchen-after all, it's all about the convenience."
Customers are asked to choose a date, time, and menu in advance. All of the food prep work is done when they arrive; each person then makes meals to their liking. "We provide everything you need, still allowing customers to get creative," says Kim Bailey. "Don't like raisins? Don't use them. Love peppers? Add a few extras." Participants then pack meals with materials and cooking instructions that are provided.
The inaugural menu will include an array of selections such as Baked Stuffed French Toast, Greek Shrimp with Orzo, Roasted Beef with Balsamic Sauce, Russian Pork Tenderloin, Baked Honey Nut Chicken, and Apple Brown Betty. Customers are invited to make their own selections or order already-prepared entrees for pick-up.
Orders are placed in quantities of 3, 6, 9, or 12 entrees; half-orders are also available via the pick-up service. Prices start at $70 for three meals. Make & Take's Ready-to-Go Freezer will also be on-site at the new location. The Freezer includes many of the month's Make & Take selections, as well as an array of additional entrees, side dishes, pies and other desserts.
The Halifax location will host its grand opening on Sunday, November 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All are invited to come by, meet the staff and discover how making your own meals can be so easy-and delicious. All participants will also be entered to win a free session.
The Make & Take Kitchen's new location can be found at 284 Monponsett Street, Halifax, MA 02338. Contact them by phone at 781-294-2014 and online at www.makeandtakekitchen.com. Private parties and group accommodations are also available.
