MASTERS OF THE GRILL XIV:
TONY MANTUANO AND TOP CHEF COMRADES GRILL AT MANGIA TO BENEFIT
THE LES TURNER ALS FOUNDATION (LOU GEHRIG'S DISEASE) SUNDAY, JUNE 25, 2006
KENOSHA, Wisc. (June 6, 2006) - On Sunday, June 25, food lovers, enthusiasts and supporters will gather at Mangia Trattoria (5717 Sheridan Rd.) to indulge in an all-out summertime feast, grilled up by some of the region's top chefs. Led by Chef Tony Mantuano - of Chicago's four-star Spiaggia and co-owner of Mangia - and benefiting the Les Turner ALS Foundation, Masters of the Grill XIV will give diners an exclusive opportunity to enjoy a decadent seven-course meal, with wines to match, while benefiting an important cause.
Two seatings will be available at Masters of the Grill XIV: 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. The cost is $85 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity. Reservations are required. Please call (262) 652-4285 for reservations. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Les Turner ALS Foundation. Each seating will include a "Masters XIV" silent auction, 100% of whose proceeds will benefit the organization.
The 2 p.m. seating will welcome two special guests who have shown ongoing support of the Les Turner ALS Foundation over the years: Former Chicago Bears Keith Van Horne and Jay Hilgenberg, both from the 1985 Super Bowl Championship Team. They will be available to talk with fans, sign autographs and take photos.
And onto the food! The impressive chef lineup will be stationed outdoors upon Mangia's expansive outdoor patio so guests will have a first-hand view of the action. The chefs, who all go back years, will interact with the guests as much as each other, sharing stories and friendly banter well into the evening hours. Esteemed participants and their delicious contributions include:

Founded in 1977, the Les Turner ALS Foundation is the only independent publicly supported non-profit organization in the Chicago area dedicated solely to the treatment and elimination of ALS. The Foundation funds medical research programs; a multi-disciplinary patient clinic; in-home services, including as a home liaison nurse, social worker and nurse consultant; support groups; equipment grants; a tissue bank; respite care; communication and equipment banks; and educational programs.
