Meiko Welcomes Chris Thompson As New Vice President, Sales And Marketing

Meiko is pleased to announce that Chris Thompson has joined Meiko USA, Inc. as the new Vice President, Sales & Marketing as of July 1, 2010.

Chris brings along with him major industry sales experience, having held the positions of Vice President / General Manager of American Range as well as serving as General Manager for Jade Products Company, a division of Maytag. Along the way, Chris has proven to be a decisive, result-driven, experienced executive with a proven track record of successfully implementing change, growing sales, developing detailed marketing strategies, employing lean manufacturing tools, increasing profitability through new products and cost management, and building a team-oriented atmosphere. Chris not only brings an industry sales background to Meiko, but a technical one as well.

With his background, Chris will quickly pick up the warewashing side of the foodservice equipment business and with his consultant, dealer, and industry contacts, Chris will prove valuable in increasing both sales and the Meiko brand in the North American marketplace.
