Miss Rona's Lavender Expands Food Distribution Into Bristol Farms & Gourmet Merchants Int'l

The Rona Barrett™ Lavender Co., LLC announced that their Miss Rona's Lavender Applesauce will now be distributed to Bristol Farms, through Gourmet Merchants International.

Rona Barrett, the very popular leading Hollywood journalist of the 1970's, turned her attention to growing lavender in the early 90's. Now Ms. Barrett owns and operates Miss Rona's Lavender, specializing in the manufacturing of natural gourmet foods and skincare products.

"My line of Miss Rona's Lavender gourmet foods is a great match with Bristol Farms and Gourmet Merchants," said Barrett. "I am especially delighted they have chosen my Lavender Applesauce because it is the first product that I created in my kitchen using the organic lavender that I grow on my California Certified Organic Farm. Its exciting to see my Lavender Applesauce in all of Bristol Farms' 11 California locations."

In early 2003, Miss Rona's Lavender plans on distributing the Lavender Tea line and Shortbread Cookies to Bristol Farms, as well. "We feel confident that our relationship with Gourmet Merchants and Bristol will open up other distribution channels for our natural, Kosher-certified foods," noted Rebeckah Villa-Lopez, Sales Manager.

In addition to natural food market Bristol Farms, Gourmet Merchants International, located in Los Angeles, California, distributes to other well-known establishments including Gelson's Market, Whole Foods, and Wild Oats.
