Montauk Yacht Club Features Artist Ted Asnis & A Celebration Of "americana" At July Artist Wine Dinner

Montauk Yacht Club's award-winning Executive Chef Jared Potter has announced that artist Ted Asnis of the Romany Kramoris Gallery in Sag Harbor will be the honored guest at the "Americana" Artist Wine Dinner on Thursday, July 31st. The yacht club's unique summer dinner series, launched in May, marries fine art with fine wines and superb cuisine. Mr. Asnis' exhibition will feature "great horses, overflowing gardens, sand, ocean beach fences,
barns and farmland of yore."

James Silver of Bedell Cellars and Corey Creek Vineyards in Cutchogue, New York, will preside as the evening's Sommelier. Mr. Silver and Mr. Asnis will be present during the reception and dinner.

The Americana Artist Wine Dinner will include five delectable courses prepared and presented by Chef Potter, with each course paired with exceptional wines presented by the Sommelier James Silver.

The July Artist Wine Dinner will be served in the yacht club's renovated Lighthouse Grill & Patio Restaurant, beginning at 6:30 pm with an alfresco reception presenting Ted Asnis and his art held waterside on the Lighthouse Patio. The Americana Wine Dinner begins at 7:30 pm.
