Moonstruck Chocolate Shows Off The Flavors Of Fall

As the colors of the season change, so do the offerings from Moonstruck Chocolate Co., a Portland, Ore.-based artisan chocolatier. The new fall chocolate collections include Halloween treats as well as truffles in autumn's signature flavors such as pumpkin and maple walnut.

"We had fun hand-crafting our Halloween line," says Moonstruck chocolatier Julian Rose. "We have brought back several of our favorites from last year including the PB&J Eyeball Truffle and have added new items including the liquid caramel collection."

Fall 2010 Collection

Flavors of Fall: Moonstruck's popular Flavors of Fall collection makes its return with six unique truffles designed to capture the essence of autumn's bounty. Molasses Plantation Caramel, Maple Walnut Mousse Truffle, Pecan Pie Truffle, Pfeffernϋsse Spice Truffle, Harvest Almond Praline Truffle, Pumpkin Pie Truffle.

Halloween Collection: This year's Halloween collection includes an Extra-Bittersweet Creepy Cat Truffle, Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Truffle, Blood Orange Bat Truffle, Milk Chocolate Spider Truffle, Popping Frankenstein Truffle and PB&J Eyeball Truffle.

Pumpkin Patch: Moonstruck's twist on the pumpkin patch includes two creamy milk chocolate pumpkins and two decadent extra-bittersweet pumpkins. Both flavors are hand-decorated with a chocolate stem.

Teddy Bear Collection: The new teddy bear collection includes six teddy bear truffles all outfitted for the coming winter season with warm scarves. Each collection features two Ivory Toffee Teddy Bear Truffles, two Milk Chocolate Teddy Bear Truffles and two Extra-Bittersweet Teddy Bear Truffles.

Liquid Caramel Collection: This new collection from Moonstruck's Master Chocolatier marries flavors like pear, cinnamon, coffee and chile with soft caramel inside milk, dark and ivory chocolate shells.
