Nage Restaurant Enlivens The Inauguration With Political Parody And Creative Cuisine At The Biden Brunch

Restaurant Nage invites diners to sit down and have a cup of "Can I Call You Joe" at their Biden Brunch this January. Guests at the brunch can look forward to a fantastic menu of brunch cuisine served with a hilarious side of 'Bidenisms,' as the brunch is enlivened with inaugural political farce by hysterical impersonations of Vice-President Elect, Joe Biden.

The unique brunch will feature a comical Biden impersonator performing several political sketches, while customers coming to celebrate the inauguration, dine on several Delaware culinary specialties like the Sussex County Pun'kin Chunkin Pancakes, meant as a tribute to the Delaware tradition of "chucking" pumpkins across a field, the Southern Delaware Style Chicken in a Blanket and the Northern Delaware Scrapple and Tater Tot Hash with Fried Eggs. In addition to the special dishes, Nage will also offer its regular a la carte brunch menu featuring dishes such as Brioche French Toast Stuffed with Chocolate Ganache and the famous Sunday Morning Kill-It Skillet.

The Biden Brunch will be offered on the following Sundays in January: 4, 11 and 18 as well as the morning after the inauguration, Wednesday, January 21, 2009.

Also in honor of the Washington "changing of the guard," Nage is offering specials on traditional Caribbean Bushwacker cocktails. Made from a winning combination of cream of coconut, Kahlua, Mount Gay rum, crme de cacao and a shot of espresso, the cocktails are the perfect way to bid farewell to the Bush administration over the inaugural week. The Bushwacker cocktails are priced at $8.00.

Nage Restaurant is located in Washington DC's Scott Circle at 1600 Rhode Island Avenue, NW. Open Monday - Friday for breakfast, lunch and dinner; Saturday for dinner and brunch on Sunday, Nage is a relaxed East Coast Eatery featuring innovative twists on classic comforts, specialty cocktails and an original beer menu.
