New Chef At The Food Studio

New blood in the old south city. Chip Ulbrich, celebrated curator of Low Country Cuisine, takes over as Executive Chef of The Food Studio at the King Plow Arts Center in hip mid-town west. Chip's all American training under classic European chefs will compliment the polished service at this beautiful American regional restaurant owned by Fifth Group Restaurants. He spent the last 5 years cooking contemporary southern cuisine at the acclaimed Beaufort Inn, Beaufort SC, and wow'ed New Yorkers, hosting a dinner at the James Beard House. The menu will reflect his unique take on honest flavors, approachable presentation, and product seasonality.
