New Fiction Anthology Joining Food, Art & Literature Released November 1st

"Original Sin: The Seven Deadlies Come Home to Roost"
Dishes Up Stories of Sinful Proportions

Indulge in stories from the new anthology, "Original Sin: The Seven Deadlies Come Home to Roost." The new book is a delectable collection of stories by writers from around the country as well as, Great Britain, South Africa and Canada. Melding art with storytelling, the book includes complementary artwork by up-and-coming and established artists from around the country.

Well-known Chef, Author and Owner of C'est Si Bon: A Chapel Hill Cooking School, Dorette Snover contributed her story, "Styling" to the collection of fiction. Depths of gluttony are explored in Snover's story, "Styling," as we travel with a food stylist and a French film director as they shop in Dean and DeLuca's in New York City.

Influenced by French heritage and the food traditions of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country where she was born and raised, Snover graduated from Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania with a degree in Home Economics Education in 1978, and then the Culinary Institute of America in 1983.

In Colorado Snover spent ten years as a private chef to the Rich and Eccentric. Since 1990 she has pursued the world of food styling and writing in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Snover has worked on video, print, and live TV. From 1992 - 1998 she was the Food Editor of the Chapel Hill News, while her non-fiction pieces have appeared in Fine Cooking, Kitchen Gardener, AOL, and on NPR. Snover has also appeared on Food TV and PBS. In Chapel Hill she can be found teaching le fond de cuisine at the Carrboro Farmer's Market, as well as in the kitchen of C'est Si Bon! Snover, along with her husband, Rich, also leads tours to Provence and Tuscany for both adults, looking for truffles in all the right places, and for teens interested in exploring the world through a culinary map.

For those interested in exploring the world through a culinary map, join C'est Si Bon on upcoming artisanal culinary journeys in the heart of Provence.
