Nightclub & Bar Convention And Trade Show Announces Francisco Gonzalez As Keynote Speaker At Spirits Of Mexico Las Vegas

Celebrate the Spirits of Mexico Las Vegas, with keynote speaker Francisco Gonzalez, taking place March 8-9, 2011 at the same time as the Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show. Francisco Gonzalez, President of the National Chamber for the Tequila Industry and Founder and President of Tequila Casa de Los Gonzalez will present his keynote TEQUILA: HISTORY, HERITAGE AND EVOLUTION IN A GLASS. Gonzalez began his work in the Tequila industry at the distillery, Tequila Tres Magueyes, owned by his family and founded by his father, Don Julio Gonzalez Estrada, in 1942. In 1996 the company changed its name to Tequila Don Julio, SA de CV and Francisco continued working as the Chairman of the Board and Director General until 2003, year in which he left the company. Passionate about Tequila, he then created his own Tequila company, partnering with his three brothers. His company, Tequila Casa de los Gonzalez, opened its doors in 2005. Francisco has served as President of the National Chamber for the Tequila Industry for two terms before the current one (1987-1988 and 2002-2003). He has also served as Vice President of the Tequila Regulatory Council (1994-1995). He is also currently an Honorary Consul of South Korea in the State of Jalisco, President of the Council of Industrial Chambers of the State of Jalisco and member of the General Council of the University of Guadalajara. Gonzalez will present his keynote at the Spirits of Mexico Las Vegas (co-located with the Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show) on Tuesday, March 8th.
