The Northwest Food and Wine Festival
Oregon Convention Center, September 30th
4 - 8 PM
The First Annual Northwest Food and Wine Festival is the perfect venue to explore incredible wines, innovative cuisine, gourmet foods and culinary-related products. This exclusive event limits the number of attendees and in doing so creates a relaxed atmosphere allowing vendors to engage with guests.
Stepping onto a floor filled with over 300 wines and 70 restaurants guests will receive a commemorative wine glass, smell and see the bounty of the Northwest and delight in its offerings. Wines are paired with restaurants that have created a gourmet bite designed specifically for that wine. Whether enjoying the seafood bar or the huge chocolate fountain all will appreciate the epicurean atmosphere. A silent auction for charity, and the "get corked competition" add to the overall fun and enjoyment. Certified sommeliers and chefs will be available to answer questions about wines and culinary conundrums. Industry booths of gourmet food, wine and kitchen products will introduce their brand or product to attendees.
From 8 - 10 live music featuring Lloyd Jones Struggle and a no host wine bar filled with top favorites to enjoy by the glass will be revealed in the spectacular lobby under the downtown cityscape, enticing people to linger just a little longer, enjoying the company of others with a fine glass of wine. Wine enthusiasts and food lovers will savor and remember the flavors they experienced at the Northwest Food and Wine Festival long after the doors to The Oregon Convention Center are closed.
