O'neill's Introduces 'Burger of the Month' Promotion For Holiday Season

Burger and Beer Gift Subscriptions: Might Break Your Diet, Won't Break The Bank

Stumped for a unique holiday gift? Known for its famed half-pound burgers, New York's O'Neill's Irish Pub is offering up a "Burger of the Month" program with juicy selections and unique beer pairings sure to please everyone on your holiday list. Givers can choose a year-long "Show Me The Beef" subscription for $100, a six-month "Double Decker" program for $50 or a one month "Single Sample" for just $10.

With this new program, recipients will enjoy a specialty O'Neill's burger and French fries especially paired with a pint of beer for lunch or dinner. O'Neill's will send signature cobalt blue cards to recipients from the gift-giver with details on the gift subscription and a listing of the monthly offerings.

Each month, O'Neill's will introduce a new theme burger and beer as follows:

January - "Break Your Resolution Burger" loaded with blue cheese, guacamole and bacon. Paired with a pint of Smithwicks Irish Ale.

February - "Red Hot Burger" topped with roasted red peppers, grilled red onion, red cheddar cheese and smoked chipotle ketchup. Served with a pint of Murphys Red Ale.

March - "St. Patrick's Madness*" Gaelic burger with Irish bacon, sautied onions and cheddar cheese. Served with a pint of Guinness.

April - "Lean and Mean Buffalo Burger" topped with sautied onions and smoked Gouda cheese. Served with a pint of Weisse Wheat Ale.

May - "Cinco de Mayo Burger" featuring Pepperjack cheese, guacamole and salsa. Paired with a pint of Dos Equis Lager.

June - "Backyard BBQ Burger" topped with BBQ sauce, grilled onion, cheddar cheese and crispy bacon. Served with a pint of Fosters.

July - "Red, White and Blue Burger" featuring tomato, onion and blue cheese. Paired with a pint of Liberty Ale.

August - "Summer Lovin' Burger" topped with a poached egg. Paired with a pint of Summer Ale.

September - "Harvest Burger" featuring Portobello mushroom, fresh mozzarella and apple wood smoked bacon. Served with a pint of Brooklyn Brown Ale.

October - "Octoberfest Burger" loaded with grilled bratwurst, sautied peppers and onions. Served with a pint of Oktoberfest Ale.

November - "The Election Burger - Blue State or Red State" Red State - Red cheddar burger with a pint of Red Ale. Blue State - Blue cheese burger with a pint of Blue Smoke Ale.

December - "Hangover Helper Burger" featuring cheddar cheese, bacon and a fried egg. Paired with a pint of Christmas Ale.

"Our customers love our burger menu but sometimes they create their own favorites. The new 'Burger of the Month program' allows us to share some of our customer's best creations each month," says O'Neill's Owner Ciaran Staunton.

Located on Third Avenue between 45th and 46th streets, O'Neill's has become one of New York's favorite Irish pubs since opening in 1997. Once inside the signature cobalt blue storefront amid midtown's hustle and bustle, guests are transported to an Irish country bar with authentic pub fare, friendly bartenders and a warm, inviting space including an upstairs atrium dining room. Local residents and celebrities alike can be spotted enjoying a burger and pint including Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Seinfeld, Daniel Day Lewis, Brian Dennehy, Hillary Clinton, Governor Pataki and Gerry Adams.

O'Neill's Irish Pub is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. A late-night menu is available from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. In addition to ten signature half-pound burgers, guests can enjoy Irish favorites such as Leenane Shepherd's Pie and O'Neill's
