O'neill's Irish Pub Announces Its Fall/winter 2006 Burger Collection

Hemlines may come and go but burgers are always en vogue. New Yorkers can check out the new fall/winter burger and beer lineup at O'Neill's Irish Pub featuring juicy signature burgers and fries specially paired with a pint of beer for just $10 for lunch or dinner.
For September, the "Harvest Burger" is an ideal choice for those looking for a bacon-cheeseburger with a twist. The half-pound burger is topped with Portobello mushroom, fresh mozzarella and apple wood smoked bacon. Served with a pint of Brooklyn Brown Ale.
For October, the "Octoberfest Burger" brings a taste of Germany to New York with with grilled bratwurst, sautied peppers and onions. Paired with a pint of Oktoberfest Ale.
For November, "The Election Burger - Blue State or Red State" is a hard choice. Red State - Red cheddar burger with a pint of Red Ale. Blue State - Blue cheese burger with a pint of Blue Smoke Ale.
December features the pub's famous "Hangover Helper Burger" with cheddar cheese, bacon and a fried egg. Paired with a pint of Christmas Ale.
The fall/winter burgers are part of O'Neill's 2006 "Burger of the Month" program which pairs a specialty burger and French fries with a pint of beer for lunch or dinner. A six-month "Double Decker" subscription is available for $50 or a one month "Single Sample" for just $10. O'Neill's will send signature cobalt blue cards to recipients from the gift-giver with details on the gift subscription and a listing of the monthly offerings.
"Our customers love our burger menu but sometimes they create their own favorites. The new 'Burger of the Month program' allows us to share some of our customer's best creations each month," says O'Neill's Owner Ciaran Staunton.
Located on Third Avenue between 45th and 46th streets, O'Neill's has become one of New York's favorite Irish pubs since opening in 1997. Once inside the signature cobalt blue storefront amid midtown's hustle and bustle, guests are transported to an Irish country bar with authentic pub fare, friendly bartenders and a warm, inviting space including an upstairs atrium dining room. Local residents and celebrities alike can be spotted enjoying a burger and pint including Bruce Springsteen, Jerry Seinfeld, Daniel Day Lewis, Brian Dennehy, Hillary Clinton, Governor Pataki and Gerry Adams.
O'Neill's Irish Pub is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. A late-night menu is available from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. In addition to ten signature half-pound burgers, guests can enjoy Irish favorites such as Leenane Shepherd's Pie and O'Neill's Traditional Irish Stew and hearty dishes such as Tipperary Traditional Chicken Pot Pie, Dingle Bay Beer Battered Fish and Chips and Balinrobe Bangers and Mash. A wide range of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and wraps are also served.
