CHICAGO, Ill. (June 6, 2006) - On Sunday, July 16, 2006, Vermilion and The Chicago Office of Tourism are delighted to invite you to One Exotic Evening. Enjoy cutting-edge fashion and the bold meshing of exotic Indian-Latin flavors, including tapas and an herb & spice cocktail. View a fashion show showcasing the creations of leading Indian and Chicago designers (Indian fashions of Payal Sinha, jewelry by Cheena Chandra, and leading Chicago designers). Vermilion, known for it's innovative Indian-Latin fusion and contemporary events, has won accolades including "Best New Restaurant" Travel & Leisure, Town & Country, Chicago Magazine, Bon Appetit, USA Today, Wine Enthusiast. Meet the women behind the creation of the restaurant, meet the designers, enjoy a perfectly exotic interlude to summer. The event begins at 7 p.m. and costs $30. Vermilion is located at 10 W. Hubbard Street in Chicago's bustling River North neighborhood. Featuring the concept and flavors of Founder/Owner Rohini Dey and Executive Chef Maneet Chauhan, the restaurant recently evolved to evoke a Deeper, Bolder synergy of Indian and Latin cuisine. The restaurant is open for lunch on weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dinner is served Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m. The Vermilion Lounge is open during restaurant hours and late night for special events. The restaurant seats 250, with an 18-seat outdoor patio open seasonally. The restaurant can also host seated private events for 8 to 120, or standing cocktail and tapas receptions for up to 350 guests.
