Over 40 Thanksgiving Menu Items To Go From Art Of Eating Order By November 15 And Pick Up By Noon Thanksgiving Day
Executive Chef Cheryl Stair of the premier Hamptons caterer, Art of Eating is famed for her predilection toward organic and local ingredients. For Thanksgiving, she designs a take-home menu of 40 items to compose a five-course meal or just dessert. Turkey is free-range and reared in small flocks from Mecox Ludlow Farms - never frozen. Pies are made with an all butter crust, fresh local fruits and available sugar-free - with nothing chemical or artificial. All foods are prepared in small batches - not mass-produced. Hors d'oeuvres
Cajun marinated beer steamed shrimp (that never touch the water, steamed not chilled) with lemon dill sauce ($27 doz.)
Caviar with chive cr�me fraiche, chopped red onion, lemon, capers and brioche triangles (Market Price)
Sliced smoked salmon with chopped red onion, lemon, capers, dill sauce and brown bread ($24.50 1/2 lb.)

Salad of autumn greens with poached Seckle pear, English Stilton, spiced walnuts, leek crisps with Apple Cider vinaigrette ($7.50 per person)

Slow roasted turkey from Mecox Ludlow Farms with herbs from the garden - brined and butter basted ($9.25 lb.)
Slow roasted baked beach plum glazed Virginia ham studded with cloves ($9.50 lb.)
