The Painted Lady Is The Number One Rated Portland Restaurant In The Zagat Guide

Oregon Wine Country Gem Achieves Highest Scores In The Portland Region In The New 2013 Guide To America's Top Restaurants

Newberg, OR (November 28th, 2012)-The 2013 Zagat Guide, America's Top Restaurants, has just been published - and The Painted Lady Restaurant in Newberg, Oregon snagged the highest ratings in Portland.

Since opening in Newberg in 2005, The Painted Lady has been an emblem of fine dining and elegant Pacific Northwest cuisine. Located in beautiful Oregon wine country, The Painted Lady is an ideal place to savor local wines and fresh, regional cuisine in a classic dining room setting. Situated in a picturesque two-story Victorian home on a tree-lined street, The Painted Lady offers a timeless and romantic experience for every guest.

Founded in 1979 by husband and wife pair Nina and Tim Zagat, The Zagat Survey curates user-generated content as a means to rate restaurants, nightlife, shopping and more. Each restaurant is rated in three categories (Food, Decor and Service) on a 30-point scale. Attaining a rank of 26-30 marks extraordinary to perfection. The Painted Lady scored a stellar 29 in Food, 28 in Decor and 29 in Service - the best in the Portland area.

The Painted Lady has held the highest Zagat score in Oregon since being named to the official Zagat list in 2010. No stranger to critical acclaim, The Painted Lady was awarded AAA Four Diamond Status in 2011. Given that the Zagat Survey is compiled entirely from user-generated content, the new 2013 Zagat Survey numbers illustrate that guests (as well as critics) enjoy and recognize the finesse and flavor of The Painted Lady Restaurant.
