Pairsine Will Delight Wine & Food Lovers In Nyc On April 17th!

Wine Country Network, Inc, will launch the first stop in its ten city tour for its signature chef competitions: Pairsine, The Taste of Elegance in New York City on Tuesday April 17, 2012. The venue is Sun West Studios at 450 West 31st Street- a 10th floor penthouse location with stunning views of Manhattan and the Hudson River.

Ten top area chefs will create 20 culinary pairings to go with 20 red Zinfandel wines. More than 60 Zins will be presented by 26 California winemakers, who are members of ZAP (Zinfandel Advocates and Producers). Guests will have a chance to meet "the stars" of Zinfandel with many winemakers personally pouring.

Chef contestants include some of the regions top culinary talents including past participants and champions of America's most watched cable television cooking shows like Iron Chef, Chopped! , Hells Kitchenand My Big Redneck Vacation.

"Red wine lovers will be elated with the wide range of Zinfandel styles that will be presented. From lighter claret-style wines, to jammy, explosive fruit with hints of berry pie, high acidity or classic California reds with explosive fruit, Zin's versatility with food is going to shine at this event," states Wine Country Network's CEO, Christopher Davies.

Participating chefs will create custom paired dishes served in appetizer portions. Participating wineries will pour wine samples alongside the chef's table.

A panel of notable food and wine critics/experts will select the "Best Chef" and "Most Creative" Chef award winners. Consumer attendees will also cast their votes for the "People's Choice" award.

A portion of ticket sales and 100% of silent auction proceeds will benefit the Foundation For Sight and Sound, a 501(c)3 non profit organization and its Help America Hear Program.
