Paola' S Restaurant Is Going Mainstream

Having been a fixture of "Traditional Italian Cuisine" on the Upper East Side of Manhattan for the past 22 years Paola's Restaurant is changing course by hiring John Baron to be it's Chef. John comes to Paola's from the kitchens of Mario Batali with whom he opened the restaurants Babbo and Otto. The hope is that John will be able to convey "downtown" creativity to the Upper East Side and bring the Restaurant into a new era of contemporary cuisine.
