Passionfish Earns 2005 Zagat Sf Survey's Top 5 Food Ratingscarmel/monterey

Pacific Grove,Ted & Cindy Walter of Passionfish restaurant in Pacific Grove attended the Zagat 2005 Awards banquet in San Francisco last week to learn of their new status as reported by Zagat surveyors. The 2005 Zagat Survey, which has just been released, places Passionfish among the Top 20 restaurants for Food, South of San Francisco. Passionfish is also listed as one of the Top Five restaurants in the Monterey/Carmel area, with a 25 point rating. The Walters were also pleased to learn the restaurant placed among the Top 20 restaurants South of San Francisco in the Top Service category, with a 23 rating.

Zagat's Passionfish review reads, "Insider's insist this little-known Californian" in Pacific Grove offers both the "Best seafood on the Monterey Peninsula" and deals on wine you'll find anywhere, thanks to near "at-cost prices;" the owners are passionate about food, outstanding service, and protecting the environment; despite the "simple decor" and an "exterior that looks like a coffee shop," reservations are a must, as "locals can"t stay away."
