Portland's Cinque Terre To Hold Three-night Truffle Season Celebration

WHAT:
Portland, Maine's acclaimed Cinque Terre will be hosting three nights of six-course dinners, to feature prized white truffles from Italy's Piedmont region, hearty seasonal fare and wines from three top-tier Italian producers. Each evening's varying meal-and-wine pairings will showcase the unique flavors of truffles in a different way.

WHEN:
On Wednesday, November 8, Cinque Terre will accompany truffle selections with wines from one of the Piedmont region's most esteemed producers, Produttori del Barbaresco.

On Thursday, November 9, wines from the award-winning Alfredo Prunotto winery, located in "truffle country" just outside Alba, will make for a beautiful pairing with the evening's truffle dishes.

And on Friday, November 10, Cantina Stroppiana wine selections, still cultivated using traditional and manual methods, will be showcased during the evening's truffle dinner.
