Pregel Canada Introduces Montericco Natural Fruit Purees

PreGel adds a new high-end line of purees to its product line.

CONCORD, N.C. (June 18, 2012) - PreGel CANADA, the Canadian division of the largest specialty dessert ingredient manufacturer in the world is expanding its product line with all-natural and Kosher certified fruit purees containing a selection of 22 different flavours. Made in Canada, the line features purees ranging from fresh berries and citrus to the exotic fruits of lychee and guava.

As PreGel continues to assess its client's needs, adding natural fruit purees was a holistic approach to expand the company's product line.

Flavours offered in the Montericco Natural Fruit Purees line are:

- Apricot Puree
Description: Ripe apricots from the orchards of southern California are selected to create this puree. The puree provides the aromas and flavours of fresh, farmhouse apricot preserves.

- Banana Puree
Description: Bananas from Ecuador are collected at the peak of their ripeness to produce this rich and tropical puree.

- Blackberry Puree
Description: Made with luscious British Columbia blackberries, this puree provides a freshness that is reminiscent of picking berries from the wild.

- Black Currant Puree
Description: The black currants in this puree are harvested in the Fraser Valley Region of British Columbia and are full of delightful aromas and fine tannins.

- Blood Orange Puree
Description: Moro or blood oranges from California provide a vibrant colour and a bitter-sweet taste of intense citrus with back tones of cherry and black currant in this puree.

- Blueberry Puree
Description: Packed with antioxidants, the blueberries in this puree are grown in the verdant Fraser Valley of British Columbia. The blueberries are ripened to perfection and pureed, retaining all the freshness from the field.

- Coconut Puree
Description: The coconuts in this puree are sourced from the world's top coconut producer, the Philippines. This puree presents a nice coconut aroma and is silky smooth on the palate.

- Forest Berries Puree
Description: A medley of raspberries, blueberries and black currants combine to create this puree. The berries are sourced from the fertile Fraser Valley of British Columbia.

- Guava Puree
Description: Pink-fleshed strawberry guavas from Malaysia are used for this highly aromatic puree. The sweet and exotic taste is great for any dish or dessert.

- Green Apple Puree
Description: Yakima Valley Granny Smith apples are used to produce this green apple puree. Located in the state of Washington, the Yakima Valley is a world-renowned producer of the coveted tree fruit.

- Key Lime Puree
