PRESS St. Helena was chosen by Michael Bauer, one of America's most influential restaurant critics, as one of the Top 100 Bay Area Restaurants in 2012. Bauer, a regular visitor to Napa Valley, chose only seven wine country restaurants to place on his much-heralded list. PRESS has been recognized by Bauer once againfor its prime meats, extensive all-Napa wine list, and also for being what he refers to as "one of the most beautifully designed spaces in the area." According to Michael Bauer's cuisine classifications, PRESS is the only steakhouse on the 2012 list.
