Proof To Host Champagne/caviar Inaugural Ball After Party And Inaugural Eve Dinner Show

Proof is announcing plans to offer several Inaugural events. On January 20th, Proof will host a post-Inaugural Ball after party from 11:30 PM to 3 AM. Priced at $250 per person (inclusive of tax and gratuity), this chic soir�e will feature the brilliant Verve recording artist Melody Gardot and her band, decadent passed hors d'oeuvres, such as foie gras and caviar, and up to three glasses of the Dom Perignon, Krug, and Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne to toast President Obama into office.

Earlier on Inauguration Day, Proof will provide an option to DC residents and tourists who want to watch the Inauguration festivities comfortably. The restaurant will serve a sumptuous buffet brunch from 10 AM to 2:30 PM. For $75 per person (inclusive of tax and gratuity), guests can enjoy a selection of brunch specialties from Chef Haidar Karoum with unlimited Champagne selected by Proof's wine director, Sebastian Zutant, all while watching the parade and swearing-in ceremony on four flat screen televisions.

On January 19th, the eve of the Inauguration, the wine-centric restaurant will host a dinner show featuring a special four-course tasting menu prepared by Chef Karoum, and a live performance by Ms. Gardot, and her band. Priced at $120 per person inclusive of tax and gratuity, the dinner seating will be at 9:30 PM and the show will start at 10:30 PM. A small number of tickets also will be sold for viewing the show from the bar and lounge for $40 each (dinner not included).
