Qdoba Mexican Grill To Launch National Peel-and-win Promotion

Qdoba Mexican Grill President and CEO, Gary Beisler announced that the Denver-based company is launching its first national peel-and-win promotion this fall. During Qdoba's Q-Up-The-Fun promotion, which will run September 5 through October 2, each plastic 32-ounce cup will have a peel-and-win sticker attached. Guests will have a one-in-four chance of winning a host of entertainment prizes and packages.

Qdoba will award four lucky winners a VIP trip for four to Universal Studios in Orlando. The VIP prize packages include airfare, hotel, admission to Universal Studios, and $500 in spending money. In addition to these grand prizes, other giveaways include Qdoba entrees, movie rentals, movie theater tickets, music downloads, and airline tickets.

The company will also support the promotion with in-store marketing materials, its first ever Internet advertising campaign, and a dedicated, interactive Web site, www.qupthefun.com. In addition to information about the contest and prizes, the Web site will feature The Peelers, which is a group of characters who relate stories about what they like to peel. Customers can also submit their own peeling stories to the site.
