Qdoba Mexican Grill Set To Move Through New York
Qdoba Mexican Grill has signed a franchise agreement to expand throughout New York State, announced Qdoba President and Chief Executive Officer Gary Beisler recently.
Franchisee Scott Edelstein, President of Madalex LLC, and Vice Presidents, Bob Feldman and Andrew Morgenstern, signed the agreement to open restaurants in New York, including Queens County. The group plans to open their first Qdoba store at Queens Center Food Court in September of 2005.
The group carries a vast wealth of entrepreneurial experience. A native of New Rochelle, NY, Edelstein has owned businesses throughout New York City and surrounding areas. Morgenstern is currently an options trader, and Feldman is a multiple-unit Verizon Wireless franchisee. Also, Feldman's family has been in the restaurant business for over 30 years.
"Qdoba is one of the fastest growing concepts in the industry," said Scott Edelstein. "We like the overall look of the restaurant, its excellent staff and the bold, fresh flavors Qdoba has to offer."
