WHAT: TAVERN, Suzanne Goin & Caroline Styne's popular restaurant in Brentwood, brings their Ribfest to the restaurant to be tasted for the first time west of the 405. Tavern will be suited up for the rib rodeo; wranglers and cowgirls - staff and guests alike - dress in denim, bandanas, boots and Stetsons for a Yippie Yi Yay good old time. The family style menu is a feast of slow-cooked ribs, hot wings, and sides that has become a Goin/Styne summer tradition since 2000. The Tavern Ribfest precedes the 11th Annual Lucques Ribfest on Sunday, August 11, 2013. A week of preparation goes into the smoking of pork, beef and lamb ribs, spreading the lure of wood smoke throughout both neighborhoods and attracting a growing swell of Rib Fest Groupies for this BBQ celebration. $55 per person plus beverages, taxes and gratuities.
