Rocklands Barbeque And Grilling Company Kicks Off It's 'pooches On The Patio' Happy Hour With A 'shed Your Coat' Coat Drive

This spring Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company is opening its expansive outdoor patio to wet noses and waggly tails with "Pooches on the Patio" in its Arlington location. The restaurant is kicking off the nightly 'yappy' Hour with a "Shed Your Coat," coat donation drive on Saturday, April 18, 2009 from 11 am to 5 pm. Guests are encouraged to donate their old coats or any other non- perishable items, including canned food, to the event. All coats will be donated to The Clock Tower Thrift Store and all canned food will be donated to Arlington's Doorways Shelter for Women and Children and the Arlington Food Assistance Center.

Dog lovers shedding their coats can bring their pooches to the restaurant's patio and enjoy succulent food from Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company including its delicious and eternal crowd pleaser, whole barbequed pig on a grill. And happy yappy puppies will be well taken care of, as Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company offers the cuddly canines water bowls and an array of dog treats to scarf down.

Starting Thursday, April 23, 2009 and continuing through the spring and summer, Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company will welcome pooches on the patio at the nightly 'yappy' hour that goes from 4 pm to 8 pm.

In addition to the unbeatable food and drink specials at Pooches on the Patio, the barbeque restaurant will also offer mouthwatering specials through the week like Monday's "Buy a Beer and Get a Free Chopped Pork Sandwich," and Wednesday's "Wings and a Beer for $4.99."

The "Shed Your Coat" and "Doggy Yappy Hours" will take place at Rocklands Barbeque and Grilling Company's Arlington location at 3471 Washington Blvd., Arlington, VA.
